I've bought a White Game boy (Special Edition Magic White) which was released in 1995, but the motherboard that came inside the does not belong to this version, it's a motherboard that has issues with games and sound. It was suppose to have a motherboard with DMG-CPU-06, DMG-CPU-07 or DMG-CPU-08, instead it came with DMG-CPU-02.
This means that someone has swapped the motherboard from one of the original game boys (the gray one) and sold it as a white gameboy for extra profit (white game boy is way more expensive due to been mostly released in Japan). when I told staff that I received the wrong motherboard they replied it was fine because the Special White Magic was released before the Play it Loud - that's not true because they are the same, just different names.
