Well I have some really bad experiences with Jacob Elektronik I have placed several orders through their website. The first order arrived pretty quickly, so that was a good impression the first time. The second order was delayed for over a full week. But these things can happen. However the 3rd order at Jacob Elektronik took even longer. And I should mention that they call people liars. They stated I emailed them about the delay in the evening, while I got proof I emailed them twice in the morning (even got a reply back, however the question remained unanswered). This will be my last order with Jacob Elektronik, especially how they treat customers. It seems they don't care at all! Maybe my next order will be at?? instead. They aren't cheaper, but if the delivery times are faster and hardly any delays, it will be worth the extra money! Jacob Elektronik = Really not recommended. Oh, before I forget; they also had a special offer on WD20EARX harddisks. Should have saved me about 11 Euro on each harddisk (ordered 6), but after I placed the order, Jacob Elektronik said that the special offer wasn't valid anymore!!!!

The order was made on the 24th of July (Sunday) and was payed per Paypal. At that time, the items were deliverable in our distributor's stock (beim Lieferanten verfügbar). And we have ordered them on Monday (on Sunday nobody works, of course). These items have arrived already! On Tuesday and Wednesday. On the 26th (Tuesday) the client wanted us to expand the order, what we have done immediately. At that time the client had to pay again for this item, which delays the whole order. Of course, we can't ship any items until the whole order is completed. The client was told, that these items are available in our distributor's stock. So we had to wait until these items arrive in our stock. The client was told that we do our best to ship the goods as soon as possible and he wasn't told. I guess it's pretty unfair to call someone a liar, who didn't even lied to that person. We have told the facts and we haven't made any promises!

Than I asked if it would delay the order, as stated in my main review. And no it wouldn't delay the order. But the next day everything was in stock, except for the harddisks. I emailed again and asked why it was delayed, though I was promised there would be no delays at all. No answer. Then I send out several emails, until I received an answer. Then finally, after sending a lot of emails, I received an answer. Apparently Jacob Elektronic didn't order enough harddisks. Then I decided to cancel the harddisks and let order ship out right away (without any extra delays hopefully). On a sidenote; since I canceled the harddisks I had to order the (6) harddisks somewhere else. So I did. And guess what, the other company delivered all 6 harddisks the next day! WOW! Jacob Elektronik please stop lying to people around here on review websites. Your so-called company shouldn't lie to people and should be flagged as unreliable. After doing some more investigation, I read several reviews about Jacob Elektronik stating exactly the same! People be warned! And buy your products somewhere else, even if it's a few Euro's more. If you don't mind long delays and being lied to, than you should feel at home at Jacob Elektronik.
